About Us

With locations in Rockaway, Montclair, and Clifton, NJ, Christ Church is a multisite, multicultural, non-denominational church founded in 1986 by Drs. David & Marlinda Ireland and six other people. Now over 70 different nationalities and thousands of families call Christ Church home.

All of our sites enjoy a live, contemporary and diverse worship experience, led by our very own Christ Church Collective, and a transformational message by the Christ Church Teaching Team, led by founder and lead pastor, Dr. David Ireland.

We also have our Quest Student Ministries that serve the next generation (kids, teens, college and young adults). Since 1986, we've sought to Unite People to God and People to People—and we look forward to welcoming you and your family to Christ Church Clifton at the AMC Theatre!

Quest Student Ministries
Our Quest Student Ministries provides an age-appropriate worship experience, amazing adventures, friendship and learning for our young leaders who will be leading our churches tomorrow. Due to space limitations at Christ Church Clifton, we are currently only providing ministry to our Quest Kids, children ages 5-11, for the time being.
