Quest Kids & Quest Teens Regathering FAQs

When will Quest Kids and Quest Teens regather?

Quest Kids and Quest Teens will regather on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at both our East Campus (Montclair) and West Campus (Rockaway) at both services. Thereafter, we will continue to meet on Sundays.

What is the registration process?

We ask all families to register their kids and teens for the weekend worship service in the Sanctuary. Once registered, you will be able to check in your child and teen at the Quest check-in area. Please arrive 20 minutes early before the service start time for registration check-in and Quest check-in.

Please note that due to limited capacity, check-in will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. If rooms are to capacity, we kindly ask that your child and teen accompanies you in the Sanctuary to enjoy the worship experience.

Are all ages for Quest Kids welcomed?

At this time, Quest Kids can accommodate children ages 3 to 10 years of age only. We are preparing to provide ministry to younger children, including infants and toddlers, in the near future. Stay tuned to our website for updates.

Where will Quest Kids and Teens meet at each campus?

Quest Kids will meet in their respective rooms at the East Campus (Montclair) and West Campus (Rockaway) with a limited capacity. For those who attend the West Campus (Rockaway), Quest Teens will meet in the Q Chapel. For those who attend the East Campus (Montclair), Quest Teens will temporarily meet in the Q Lounge (due to construction being completed in the Q Hall). We expect to announce when East Campus Quest Teens will regather in the Q Hall in the near future.

What measures are being taken to ensure safe, clean conditions?

Christ Church will ensure certain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is available for all our guests. We will also increase the cleaning and disinfection of our facilities to help provide a safe and healthy environment for everyone.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

In accordance with guidelines from the CDC, all of our guests in attendance must wear masks (they will be made available for those who forgot to bring their own). New Jersey guidelines state participants at church activities are required to wear face masks, except children under 2. All Quest Kids and Teens will be required to wear a mask.

Hand Sanitizer/Soap

Hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol and soap will be widely available for all our students and volunteers.

Increase Cleaning and Disinfecting

At least once per day and after every service, all bathrooms, hard surfaces, and objects that are frequently touched will be cleaned and disinfected using an EPA-approved, hospital-grade disinfectant. Quest Kids and Teens rooms will be cleaned and disinfected after each service to provide an optimal learning and growing environment.

Social Distancing

Quest Kids and Teens rooms have been reconfigured to accommodate proper social distancing while maintaining a high degree of engagement. All activities have been adjusted to maintain CDC protocols.

Will Quest Kids and Teens online devotionals continue after the regathering?

Quest Kids Online Devotionals will continue on Saturdays at 11am EST. Quest Teens Online Devotionals will continue on Mondays at 7:15pm EST. All online devotionals will be on demand on the Christ Church website after its premiere airing.
