Calling men out of isolation and into relationship with God and one another!

The vision of the Men’s Ministry is captured by the use of the acronym MVP.  Whereas the term MVP is used in sports to identify and honor the Most Valuable Players of a particular sport or team, the letter MVP is used by Christ Church Men’s Ministry to signify Men of Vision and Purpose.

The mission of MVP is to provide a cross-cultural men’s ministry that will disciple men in our local church and the surrounding region through biblical principles.  This will be accomplished by providing various opportunities for men to be strengthened by building healthy relationships with God and one another.  The aim or purpose of MVP is to empower men to become effective leaders in the home, local church and society.

What is the Goal of MVP?

There are six primary objectives of MVP:

  • To establish a vibrant cross-cultural men’s ministry that is founded on biblical principles, prayer, and Christ-centered worship.
  • To call men to a deeper relationship with God through effective discipleship oriented programs and events designed specifically for men.
  • To equip men with resources and training to help them become effective husbands, fathers, sons, and spiritual leaders in the workplace and in society.
  • To provide a number of avenues for men to become activated into ministry service in the local church and community.
  • To provide a variety of opportunities for men to build authentic relationships with other men.
  • To create a men’s ministry that has a strong emphasis on reaching un-churched men with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How Can I get Connected?

The Christ Church MVP Men’s Ministry looks to address the pressing needs that men face through a variety of relationship building activities.

Through these ministry opportunities men are encouraged and discipled in building lasting spiritual connections and friendships that are Christ–centered, as well as providing opportunities for them to serve others. Huddle Logo

As an aside, fathers taking our kids out helps our wives, ex-wives, girlfriends, etc. get some much needed personal time. For more info or to join a group:  or text MVP to 31996.
