Quest Teens (Grades 6-8) (Grades 9-12)

Welcome Teens & Parents to Quest Teens! We use the acronym, iGLOW, to describe our areas of focus. Just as the light was made to shine for the world to see, God wants our lives to shine so the world can see Him through us. We understand the teen years are a defining and transitional period in the life of a student. This pivotal milestone has its fair share of celebration and challenges when guiding your teen into adulthood, yet, we know that God uses these challenges to develop our character and mature us. Our Teen Ministry intentionally partners with parents to help them in their journey with Jesus and life.

In a safe and nurturing environment, we provide our Teens resources for Growth, where they will have the opportunity to develop an honorable Christ-centered Lifestyle that creates contagious Outreach in their circles of influence. Whether they’re being introduced to Christ or further developing their relationship with Him, we come alongside them to promote a Willing service to both God and others, preparing them for effective adult life.

What drives Quest Teens?

Core Values (iGLOW)

Introduce • Growth • Lifestyle • Outreach • Willing

The iGLOW core values informs everything we do.

introduce: We want our teens to be introduced to Jesus in FUN, Relevant, and Life-Affirming ways that both Inform and Challenge cultural norms.

Growth: We want our Teens to experience holistic Growth – spiritually, academically, relationally, physically, and vocationally.

Lifestyle: We want our Teens to live Christ-centered lives from the inside-out, and to Love both Vertically (God) and Horizontally (Neighbor) wholeheartedly.

Outreach: We want our Teens to have Sticky Faith that naturally becomes Sharing Faith.

Willing: We want our Teens to discover their gifts and use them to serve God, the church, and others.

At Quest Teens, we have hosted a variety of events and fellowship opportunities that are designed to connect Teens to God and Teens to Teens. The following is a sample of what you can expect:

Quest Teens Small Groups

Meets from fall through spring semester and breaks for summer. At Small Groups, students get the opportunity to grow in community and their faith. Every student has the opportunity to be part of Small Groups on-site on Wednesdays (East Campus) or off-site with a Student Ministry Teen Leader. Groups are divided based on age and gender, and are led by a Teen Leader with a focus on discipleship, developing community, and addressing relevant life issues.

Quest Teens Church

Meets every first and third Sunday of the month on both campuses for their own service. Our “Teen Journey” service is designed specifically for them, and it involves a casual environment, authentic community, games, live music, and teachings that are applicable to their lives. We also have gender and grade specific breakout sessions called Real Talk after the teaching, which are facilitated by our dedicated Teen Leaders.

Quest Teens Community Service through M.E.S.H.

Students are given the opportunity to grow in their service toward their neighbors and community through Montclair Emergency Service for the Homeless. Students can join us every second Saturday of each month at the East Campus (Montclair), where they’ll be challenged to be a part of a service project.

Quest Teen Events

Events at Quest are open to everyone but may be campus specific in order to provide students and parents with events that are convenient for them to attend.

Coming This Summer

The Teen Worship Arts Camp gives students the opportunity to discover their unique gifts and have them be nurtured by skilled mentors in the areas of fine art, media, music, etc. We had our inaugural two-day camp last year and it was a fun-filled, faith-building time that changed young lives! The students also engaged in fun activities – worshiping together with their own youth band, encouraged and challenged by God’s Word through an awesome speaker, and small group discussions.

Mission Trips

We offer students the opportunity to be Jesus' hands and feet overseas or on local missions trips. We're currently planning for our 2019 Missions Trip!

Keep in Mind

During the summer months we may provide students the opportunity to grow in community through planned outings or outdoor fun.
