The Legacy Group is a team of men and women who possess the spiritual gift of giving (Romans 12:6-8) and have intentionally decided to impact coming generations through their long-term financial choices. This group recognizes that a greater impact can be made through their mutual expertise and synergy, and they are committed to the vision and mission of Christ Church, which seeks to “unite people to God and people to people.”

Join a relational community with like-minded people where encouragement and meaningful friendships occur through a Connect Group. By joining a Connect Group, you’d be doing life together with other marketplace leaders.
Legacy People have recognized how they have historically given their time, influence and resources to accelerate the mission of the local church and advance the Kingdom of God.

The gift of giving is a spiritual gift, alongside the more well-known gifts such as teaching, serving and leading. In fact, Paul writes:
6 In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. 7 If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. 8 If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.
The gift of giving must be fully exercised and developed in order to strengthen the local church. Can you imagine the Church if the gift of teaching, serving or leadership were ignored and devalued? It would be quite sad.
We are people who think transgenerational. Our goals stretch beyond our own generation and include the ones that follow.
We support each other through collaboration and conversations on how to prepare our families to properly handle an inheritance. This is done with the aim to help our families maximize and effectively manage what we leave behind.
We are dually focused on making/managing and investing monies to ensure it has a lasting impact. Our perspective, priorities and personal practices safeguard the future impact of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for generations to come.
Each member of the Legacy Group prayerfully commits to give a generous Legacy Offering annually over and above their tithe towards the future of Christ Church. This gift can be designated to support one of the following four legacy lanes. It can also be given towards a concern of your choice that supports the future of Christ Church.

The Legacy Offering is an annual financial gift that is above your tithe. Although it can be given at any point during the year, many choose to present a portion or all of their gift at our annual gala.
This special social event honors Legacy Group members and our collective effort in accelerating Christ Church’s vision. In addition to celebrating the Legacy Group, the gala provides an ideal environment for networking and welcoming new members.
