Deciding to plant a seed is a great faith opportunity.
Your seed, which is different than tithing, is a one-time financial gift that determines next year’s harvest.
Paul said:
“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.”
May the Lord cause you to experience a generous harvest when you plant your seed! To plant your seed today, simply click on the button below. Thank you!
Join the Christ Church family in planting your generous seed at any one of our CC Online services on the weekend of December 12-13. Or, you can plant your seed today. If you’re wondering how you can increase the size of your seed—the financial gift you’d like to give toward ministry—here are some creative ways God gives seed to sowers:
Income-Stream Giving: Giving as you receive income—from your regular income, bonuses, and/or through your personal business.
Sacrifice: Changing your lifestyle/priorities can create additional resources for planting a seed.
Delaying Expenditures: Postponing anticipated purchases can free resources for planting a generous seed.
Income-Producing Assets: Interest earned, income from rental properties, or monies from other income-producing assets can be a tremendous seed toward a future harvest.
Giving Appreciated Assets: Consider transferring appreciated assets (stocks, real estate, etc.) as a way to increase the size of your seed.
Sale of Assets: Money resulting from the sale of personal assets or from personally-owned business assets, could be sown as a generous seed.
Paul said:
“Now God who provides seed for the sower and bread for food will provide and multiply your supply of seed and will cause the harvest of your righteousness to grow.”
