Lionel King

Teaching Pastor

I gladly serve as Teaching Pastor at our East Campus in Montclair, NJ but prior to this served as the church’s Teen Director for two years (2014-2016). I’ve shared the good news in prisons, schools, political functions, NFL/NCAA chapels, national conferences, and churches throughout the country. I also serve as a part-time professor at Nyack college.

Favorite Things/Hobbies

I love listening to music, poetry, gaming, movies, being a foodie, family time, and kicking back with my bride. I also enjoy watching the NBA—especially the King (Go LeBron!)

About Me

I have a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Elementary Education, and completed a Masters of Divinity at Nyack Alliance Theological Seminary. I also serve as a part-time professor at Nyack college and served in a leadership capacity within the Christian Community Development Association (CCDA).

Family Life

I’m married to the gorgeous, Stephanie King. We love enjoying the arts through concerts, Broadway shows, and galleries. We enjoy eating at local restaurants—trying various cultural dishes. We love to make each other laugh, discussing political issues, listening to music, and randomly making up songs while being in the house.
