I use my distinct shepherding gift to provide direction to the counseling ministry, pastoral care, care groups, grief recovery, prayer, and chaplaincy ministries. I also serve as a chaplain in numerous ways: with the Montclair Police Department, as a New Jersey Disaster Response Crisis Counselor, with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team, and to the 60-member staff of Christ Church.
Being an avid runner – half-marathons, marathons, triathlons, you name it – you may see me running at a park or a trail near you!
I enjoy nature, flowers, water, birds, gardening, exercise; my wife and I are cat lovers.
I had a 26-year career with the U.S. Postal Service. In 1984, I came to Christ and in 2000, I transitioned into full-time ministry at Christ Church.
I have been married since 1976 to my wife Carol, and we have lived in South Orange throughout the entirety of our marriage.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
