WATER BAPTISM

WHAT? Baptism literally means to be submerged in water. Water Baptism is an outward act that symbolizes an inward washing away of sin and a new life as a follower of Jesus.

WHO? Water Baptism is for anyone who has become a believer and follower of Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We encourage all who have made a decision to follow Christ to be Water Baptized. It is part of being a disciple (disciplined follower) as taught by Jesus: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19).

If you were baptized as an infant—but have made a decision to follow Christ as an adult—we encourage you to be Water Baptized based on your new personal faith.

WHEN? TBD. Check back soon for the dates of our next Water Baptism Weekend.
