This past year our Quest Kids took part in two global missions projects. The first one came about through our Vacation Bible School last July. During our full-day, one-week summer camp, students took part in a giving challenge with the goal of supporting our missions partner Mid India Christian Mission (MICM). The goal of MICM is to proclaim Jesus Christ throughout India and beyond. Each day of VBS, kids gave financially in support of reaching other kids, and by the end of the week, our students had raised over $1400 toward a mission project in India (photos at left). As a result, we were blessed to receive a letter regarding the donation from Executive Director Tommy Corrao. As noted in Corrao’s letter, “The kids from Christ Church are making it possible to bring Hope, Dignity, and a Future to children living all across India.”
Additionally, in November of last year, our Quest Kids took part in Operation Christmas Child from Samaritan’s Purse, which serves children on a global scale by presenting the gospel through various, non-perishable gifts. As a result of our students’ generosity, many boys and girls overseas were able to grow in Christ and share the gospel with friends and family! At Quest Kids, we are blessed to teach our students that God uses missionaries to transform lives—and He can use each of us to help these missionaries be His hands and feet!
