As we approach the summer months of 2022, our students are being renewed in faith, fun and friendship with others! Our Quest Kids, Teens, College Ministry and Young Adults teams are excited to host summer events, offering opportunities to build their relationship with God and others. Through events such as our regional Tri-County Fair in June, our VBS on Tour in July and a fun, exciting movie night in August, there’s so much to look forward to!
As a church family, we’re focused on the goal of being renewed. For Quest, our prayer is for every student to embrace renewal in Jesus in their lives. When we see a student serving their community, offering their talents and gifts, and being an encouragement to their peers, it represents the type of renewal God wants to do in all of us!
In Isaiah 40:31, we are reminded of this powerful promise:
“But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
There are times when we become weary, fatigued, and drained from life. It’s precisely in those times that we are called to lean into God – through prayer, worship, service and giving. As we draw closer to Him, we are promised that He will draw closer to us (James 4:8). It’s in the closeness that God renews our strength.
As a Quest team, it’s our prayer for every student, every parent, and every team member to be renewed in strength! May this renewal help us to love, serve, and reach others with the Gospel.
