These SMS Terms & Conditions govern the Christ Church text messaging program. By opting in to receive text messages from Christ Church, You agree to these terms.
Christ Church may send recurring informational and community outreach text messages about programs, events, resources, and nonprofit initiatives.
Messages may include information about:
Free community events and activities
Food pantry distributions and community resources
Volunteer opportunities
Church programs and services
Community outreach initiatives
Event reminders and related updates
The types of messages You receive may depend on the program or communication preferences selected when You opt in.
Participation in the Christ Church SMS messaging program is voluntary.
You may opt in through an authorized Christ Church sign-up form or another method that clearly indicates that You are agreeing to receive text messages from Christ Church.
By opting in, You confirm that You are the subscriber or authorized user of the mobile number provided and that You consent to receive recurring text messages from Christ Church at that number.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of participating in Christ Church programs, events, services, or community initiatives.
Providing a mobile phone number to Christ Church through another source does not automatically enroll You in our recurring SMS messaging program. Contact information obtained from purchased, rented, shared, or other third-party lists is not treated as SMS consent. Individuals must separately and directly opt in to receive recurring text messages from Christ Church.
Message frequency varies depending on the programs, events, or communications for which You have subscribed.
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data charges may apply to messages sent or received as part of the Christ Church SMS messaging program.
Christ Church is not responsible for charges imposed by Your mobile carrier.
You may stop receiving SMS messages from Christ Church at any time by replying STOP to a message.
After submitting an opt-out request, You may receive a confirmation message indicating that You have been unsubscribed. You will no longer receive recurring messages associated with that SMS program unless You opt in again.
For assistance with the Christ Church SMS messaging program, reply HELP to a text message or contact us at info@christchurchusa.org .

Our Privacy Notice explains how We collect, use, maintain, and disclose Personal Data, including mobile phone numbers and SMS consent records.
Mobile information, including SMS opt-in data and consent, will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We may use service providers to help operate and deliver our SMS messaging program. Those service providers may process information only as necessary to provide services on our behalf.
Delivery of text messages is subject to effective transmission by Your mobile carrier and other service providers. Christ Church is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages caused by circumstances outside of our reasonable control.
Christ Church may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. When changes are made, the updated version will be posted on this page and the "Last updated" date above will be revised.
Your continued participation in the SMS messaging program after changes become effective will be subject to the updated terms. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
