Celebrate 40 Years of God’s Faithfulness

This year, we celebrate 40 years of God’s faithfulness—from humble beginnings in 1986 with six members—to a thriving, multicampus church with a global reach. Through every season—growth, challenge, and expansion—God has remained constant, guiding our mission of uniting people to God and people to people. As we pause to celebrate, we reflect on all He has done and pray with expectation about what He will do next.

Faithful Through Generations — 1986-2026

As we celebrate 40 years of God’s faithfulness, we invite you to join us on June 5 and June 7 to honor all He has done to build the thriving community of believers we are today.

This milestone marks more than a number—it’s a testimony of God’s faithfulness and a moment to look ahead with expectant faith as we continue the journey together!

Marked by Faith, Guided by Vision

While not all-encompassing, these milestones reflect some of the pivotal moments that have shaped Christ Church over the past 40 years.

1986

The church is established as Tabernacle of Love Ministries with 6 adults.

1992

Tabernacle of Love Christian Center hosts first annual Worshipfest Conference.

1994

Tabernacle of Love Christian Center undergoes name change to Christ Church.

1994

Christ Church purchases 900-seat Romanesque Cathedral in Montclair, NJ.

1997

Membership grows to more than 1,300 people.

2002

Purchased a 107-acre property in Rockaway Township as the future home for expansion.

2009

Held the first worship service at the Rockaway Campus.

2022

Christ Church Clifton is launched.

2022

The vision of The CARE Center of New Jersey is launched through The Next Chapter.

2026

Christ Church Clifton moves to Lodi.
