A Community Relaunches

Young Adults worshipping at the first Quest Young Adults Live event of the year.

Over the years, the Young Adults ministry of Christ Church has served hundreds and helped them discover their God-given purpose. As we’ve re-branded our Quest Student Ministries, it was essential to re imagine how our ministry can have an impact on this emerging generation. After prayer and brainstorm On Friday, January 31, at our Montclair Campus, a diverse community of young adults gathered for the relaunch of Quest Young Adults through an event titled “Young Adults Live.” This event was filled with dynamic worship, connecting, a self reflecting message, and opportunities to serve.

Throughout this event, our relaunch focused on the 4 Cs: community, creativity, covenant, and calling. In order to see our young adults activated in their gifts, as well as their relationship with God and their purpose, this event highlighted the power of community. Throughout our icebreakers, interactions, and activities, the message was clear— we cannot live this life for God by ourselves. We are called to walk out our faith together.

Quest Young Adults are looking forward to the upcoming events and initiatives such as monthly community service projects, biweekly bible studies, creative/prayer nights, a new mentoring program, and our well-known open mic event, The Sidewalk. To underscore the power of community, our social outings will give us the opportunity to get to know one another in a fun environment.
