Christmas Blessings for Students

Thanks to an effort led by Quest Student Ministries and supported by its faithful volunteers, shoeboxes are packed and ready to be shipped as part of the Operation Christmas Child project.

This holiday season, Quest Student Ministries and the Christ Church Global missions team participated in Operation Christmas Child, a project of the humanitarian aid organization, Samaritan’s Purse. Operation Christmas Child has delivered more than 157 million gift-filled shoe boxes to kids since 1993. Due to the generosity of our students and student ministry volunteers, Christ Church was able to make a significant contribution to an initiative that shares the gospel all over the world through the simple act of blessing children in need with these shoe boxes.

The Quest Young Adults also got into the holiday spirit when they hosted their open mic event on December 22 at our East Campus in Montclair. Various forms of creativity were on display as “The Sidewalk” featured live music and an ugly Christmas sweater contest (above). The Sidewalk also once again showcased the talent and gifting of Quest Young Adults at Christ Church and in our region. They look forward to hosting life-changing events and building an even stronger emerging community in 2019!
