Quest College

In the story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37), Jesus asked if the priest, the Levite or the Samaritan acted as a neighbor to the robbed man. The lawyer answers, “The one who showed him mercy.”

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, we discovered that God was inviting us to a Deeper Encounter. We could no longer depend on a building or physical contact to frame our gathering, we were being called to gather into our secret place together via zoom.

Quest College Ministry Director Angela Maceda meets with students one-on-one on Christian discipleship, which entails teaching biblical principles, while modeling and guiding students toward living righteously as followers of Jesus Christ.

This fall, the Quest College Ministry is connecting college students to God and to each other through the Quest College Shuttle and our Meet and Munch gatherings.

Internship Christ Church recently concluded the summer session of the Impact Internship Program, which featured 12 college students, and is a paid opportunity that prepares them to be future leaders in their chosen career paths.

The Defending Your Faith apologetics course was not only an impactful class at both Christ Church campuses this winter, it was also taught to college students on their campus.

The Quest College Ministry has engaged 16 new young adults since the debut of “Meet & Munch” in June—where college students Meet in the lobby after service and Munch at a local restaurant.

Our College Ministry is also bustling and the shuttle program continues to be a vital component of our outreach.
