About Us

With locations in Rockaway, Montclair, and Clifton, NJ, Christ Church is a multisite, multicultural, non-denominational church founded in 1986 by Drs. David & Marlinda Ireland and six other people. Now over 70 different nationalities and thousands of families call Christ Church home.

All of our sites enjoy a live, contemporary, and diverse worship experience, led by our very own Christ Church Collective, and a transformational message by the Christ Church Teaching Team, led by founder and lead pastor, Dr. David Ireland.

We also have our Quest Student Ministries that serve the next generation (kids, teens, college, and young adults). Since 1986, we've sought to Unite People to God and People to People—and we look forward to welcoming you to Christ Church Rockaway.

The Christ Church Teaching Team seeks to come alongside you with biblical truth that can be applied to your everyday life.

Quest Student Ministries
Quest provides an age-appropriate worship experience, amazing adventures, friendship, and learning for our young leaders who will be leading our churches tomorrow. We provide ministry to our youngest guests from newborn through 5th grade. For our middle schoolers and teens, we have a weekly Sunday experience for them as well as a Friday night service, called Unite, in Montclair.
