As school districts and families are having to face the new realities due to Covid-19, the Quest Kids team will be hosting a virtual back to school bash for all children (Kindergarten – 5th grade).
The year 2020 has been a very interesting year for our Christ Church community. Covid-19 certainly changed the way we do ministry as a church and likewise how we do ministry to children.
This past year our Quest Kids took
part in two global missions projects.
At the beginning of 2018, Quest Kids Head Room Leader Brittany Lanzone had a vision for our children to launch an evangelism initiative called “Miracle 2018.”
As you may have noticed, it’s been a very exciting time in and around the world of Quest Kids.
On October 21, at the West Campus in Rockaway, Chris Lewis was ordained as a pastor-transitioning from our Director of Children’s Ministry into our Pastor of Children’s Ministry-a big movement in our Movement!
It’s been quite a summer for the Children’s Ministry, as God’s presence was strongly felt at Vacation Bible School in July.
In June, almost 15,000 people stepped foot on the West Cam-pus grounds for the Tri-County Fair, and one of the greatest benefits of that outreach was connecting with students from throughout the region.
Christ Church’s Vacation Bible School is expanding to be a full-day summer camp that will provide ministry, excitement, and fun memories to hundreds of kids ages 5-11.
